Valentine Pancakes and a Contract

We spent Valentine's Day at Nonni and Pop's house this year, since February 14th fell at the end of our first house hunting adventure to TX.

To help us celebrate all the "luv" AND the fact that someone had put a contract on our OK house in our absence (how convenient that all our showings took place when we were out of town!!) only 7 short days after we listed it (thank you Lord!) Vaughn, Nonni, and Pop made pancakes for us all to enjoy together.



First, you pour in the flour (which Pop had put into the ranch dressing shaker-upper! Why, you ask? Because that's where Vaughn wanted it of course!!).




See, I told you this shaker thing would be just GREAT for pouring flour!




Next, comes the milk. No special equipment needed!




Now it's time for the eggs!




Now, just to be sure we haven't forgotten anything, let's double check our recipe! (This part was totally Vaughn's idea!)




Now we just mix well, and let Nonni work her magic on the griddle!

The pancakes were yummy, and YES they were heart shaped!

(**note-we enjoyed a HUGE snow while we were there and I am planning on posting some pictures soon, but this multiple-picture/paragraph posting from my phone is for the birds! I will work on it fr the computer!)
