Christmas Morning

After a week at Garner and in Fredericksburg, everyone returned to our house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We traditionally allow one present to be opened on Christmas Eve, and miraculously, it is ALWAYS Vaughn's Christmas pj's! However, this year, we allowed him ONE gift of choice, along with the "pj present". He selected the biggest bag under the tree - with his name on it, and inside was A PILLOW PET! He had been hoping for one under the tree, and Grinny and Hitee knew exactly which one he wanted!
Big Pillow Pet Love!

Nonni and Pop surprised us all this year with a Christmas Eve present as well! They had tshirts made for all of us stating: "I survived the OKC Christmas Blizzard of 2009!" If you don't know what that's all about, check out my archived posts from December of 2009. IT'S ALL THERE!

The next morning, V was up bright and early but didn't insist on ripping into all the packages at once. Instead, he chose to open one and play a while before he moved on to something else. The fire truck next to him was a "last minute" surprise from Santa!

Helping Nonni with her gifts. . .

Rex was a BIG hit!

We all had a wonderful Christmas filled with many gifts and fantastic memories, contrary to the expression on my son's face! We were all truly blessed!

The picture of these two was just too cute not to include, despite V's expression!
