The Science Museum of Oklahoma

Another fun activity we enjoyed as a family during the holidays was going to the Science Museum here in OKC. They have lots of neat exhibits and a particularly kid friendly called KidZone - I think. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.

Vaughn had been playing with the train table when he spotted a real John Deere Tractor that he could climb up in and "DRIVE"! He literally threw down the trains in his hands and took off running at FULL SPEED to get to it. This picture was captured a split second before the trains were launched in favor of the tractor!

Here is the happy family in the tractor. . . looks like V thinks the parental units are cramping his farmer style just a bit!

The next big adventure happened at the Firehouse Playhouse. Vaughn slid down the pole several times. . . just like a REAL fireman. Those of you who know me well know JUST how proud I was! As you can see from his face he was a little apprehensive about the first trip down the pole.

This was one of my favorite pictures from the day. . . Vaughn and his daddy were enjoying some much needed Father/Son time and I got a pretty cool picture out of it!
