. . . wait a minute. . . . we've been doing our fair share of playing, - as evidenced in last night's post, but we have also put in a fair amount of work around the homestead since we moved in. Long story short - the people who lived here before us did NOT put in the work, so we are playing catch-up. For starters, the front flower beds had all but taken OVER the front of the house (this is the new house - for those of you who hadn't figured that out yet!). You can see to the right of the door below, how overgrown the flower bed is. We have dealt with the jungle that was to the left of the door by completely digging up all that was there and starting completely over! The plants look a bit small now but it is SOOOO much better than not being able to see the sidewalk!

Another close-up. . . I love those little hands and feet! And I miss those crocs! He has outgrown them and I couldn't find the same kind in the next size!
There is probably a roly poly bug or a grasshopper just out of sight of the camera that he is fascinated by. . .
