. . . or at least the preparations for it! Here is Santa's little helper making a run on his "motorcycle" while we were waiting for Daddy to get home from work.
Here, Vaughn and Daddy are putting the finishing touches on the tree. This isn't the greatest picture, and neither are several after this one, but they WOULD have been, if the phantom firefly dots had not appeared in the picture!
(Can anybody tell me what caused this? I was using a 35mm fixed lens at a low aperture, with no flash!)

Meet Bruce the Moose - Vaughn and Daddy built him together at Build-A-Bear. His antlers light up, he has a heartbeat, and Jason recorded a message just for Vaughn inside him. It plays when you squeeze his hand. Bruce has been a REAL help for Vaughn when Jason is away on business for several days at a time, not to mention that he's pretty cute too!
